What we did
This listed barn had been previously converted and extended but had an awkward layout with three different staircases up to different parts of the first floor.
After lengthy negotiations with the Conservation Officer, we secured permission for two extensions. Firstly a contemporary central hallway and staircase to rationalise the layout internally, and secondly, a replacement of the kitchen wing with a new master bedroom above.
